Born from Experience

GolGetr is not just an idea. It comes from lived experience. My daughter, Kylie Alvarez, recently committed to play Division I soccer at UTEP. But her journey was far from easy. For years, we drove 600 miles most weekends from El Paso to Dallas so she could compete at a higher level. It meant missed family events, long road trips, financial strain, and sacrifices at every turn.

Kylie’s success came not just from talent, but from strategy, initiative, and persistence. She learned how to advocate for herself, create film, connect with coaches, and stay academically strong, all while balancing the unique challenges of not living in a major soccer hub.

Her journey showed me that while the path is tough, with the right knowledge and support, it is possible for any dedicated player. That is the heartbeat of GolGetr.

What GolGetr Stands For
